What is Lisk?
Lisk is a decentralized network such as Bitcoin, Nxt or Bitcoin Shears. Tokens and Lisk codes are called LSK. The platform does not use the Proof of Work model such as Bitcoin or the Proof of Stake model such as Nxt. Lisk uses the consensus algorithm used in BitShears, known as the Delegated Proof of Stake model. This means that any user with a LSK can vote for the mainchain representatives who provide network security. A maximum of 101 agents can work and receive rewards, which means there is a lot of motivation to become an active agent. So they have to keep the users satisfied so that they can get the votes of the users.
Lisk is a digital currency and its token is called LSK. It takes about 10 seconds to send an LSK from one account to another. So in about 1 minute, the transaction can be considered complete. Lisk, like Atrom, is able to execute smart contracts and can develop software on it. Lisk is also coded in Java, allowing developers to use it without having to learn a new programming language.
