The Foreign Exchange and Blockchain Commission of China, the country’s computer trade union organization, announced that the Islamic Consultative Assembly’s plan on digital currencies will soon be read in the open court of the parliament.
The current plan has some similarities with the previous plan of the commission (which was presented 1 year ago) in some aspects, especially regarding the digital currency extraction industry. ; But since the plan is being considered under the “Comprehensive Currency Code Plan”, it is still not complete and comprehensive on other issues related to this area.
According to Ashtiani, after the commission was convened, activists in the field of blockchain and digital currencies have sent various expert opinions and plans to the commission in practice.
The Nasr Organization Currency and Blockchain Commission of Nasr Organization, in cooperation with other activists, is sending an amendment to the Islamic Consultative Assembly so that after reading the current plan, it can be applied in case of amendments in the relevant specialized commission.
Among the criticisms leveled at the plan is its incompleteness in terms of covering all aspects of China’s blockchain technology and digital currency. According to the Nasr Organization for China’s cryptocurrency and blockchain commission, various areas such as the role of the stock exchange organization in cryptocurrencies, the central bank’s digital currency, digital currency exchanges, startups and blockchain-based businesses, tokenization of assets and creation of private tokens, customer information security Also, the field of education has been neglected in the current plan and the executive bodies in it do not receive their duties in full.
Ashtiani further invited all activists and interested parties to share their expert opinions with this commission:
As there is still an opportunity to reform and submit a proposal for this field to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, all interested parties are requested to send their expert opinions to the Blockchaink and Nasr Exchange Commission this week through the Secretariat of the Nasr Organization. It is possible to present a comprehensive amendment to the Islamic Consultative Assembly using all its capacities and potentials.
One of the criticisms of the country’s computer trade union organization regarding the draft of the current plan of the parliament is to point out the deprived areas and also the possibility of granting loans to this industry from the National Development Fund; According to the organization, digital currency mining craftsmen, if the elimination of discrimination against energy carriers and the reduction of stonewalls in the development of the industry, can provide the equipment they need and (while emphasizing the need to eliminate discrimination in the field of energy carriers) Take a step towards the overall development of the country by paying taxes.
According to the head of the Nasr Organization’s Foreign Exchange and Blockchain Commission, the allegations that the plan was confidential or submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly by a special body (such as the Nasr Organization) are fundamentally false; However, the role of the country’s computer trade union organization as one of the most important trade union pillars and trustees in this field is undeniable, and referring to the name of the country’s computer trade union organization according to the parliament and government resolution on Nasr Digital is obvious and natural.
Ashtiani further added:
At present, consultations are underway with various institutions other than the Islamic Consultative Assembly to present the final plan of the Blockchain Commission and the currency code of the country’s computer trade union system as a comprehensive plan and covering all the mentioned areas. We hope that the esteemed legislators will understand the importance of this issue and all its dimensions with agility and accuracy, and will enter the legislation in this area with full dynamism.
Finally, referring to past unsuccessful experiences in licensing and creating monopolies and rents in similar areas, Ashtiani added:
Any legislation in this area should be done outside the framework of licensing and creating rents and monopolies, and the self-regulatory mechanism under the supervision of the current legal institutions of the country, including the country’s computer trade union system, will be the key to this issue.
