The results of this survey show that the number of bitcoin buying (long) trading positions is higher than the buying positions in the stock market of the “ESG” group. ESG is a form of investment in which, in addition to financial return, other factors such as environmental and social impacts are considered; This means that only companies in the ESG category whose activities are aimed at protecting the environment and the health of the community are included.

Bitcoin buying had previously been selected as the most popular trading position in the financial markets in May and January.

Thirty-seven percent of those surveyed said buying shares of tech companies was the busiest trading position in the market. After that, buying bitcoins and buying shares of ESG companies with 21% and 14%, respectively, took the second and third ranks. US Treasury sales also rose from about 10 percent to 13 percent last month.

In October, only about 10 percent of investment fund managers thought that buying Bitcoin was the most popular transaction in the market. At the time, ESG stocks and Chinese stocks and emerging markets were 17 and 15 percent ahead of Bitcoin, respectively.

Emerging markets refer to stocks of companies that often operate in the developing world.

In November, 59 percent and in May, 75 percent of respondents said the bitcoin market was bubbling.

Bitcoin has performed relatively well compared to oil and gold, earning it the title of Best Asset Class of 2022 from Mutual Fund Managers. In this category, 12% of respondents voted for Bitcoin and 10% for oil and gold. Emerging market shares also topped the table with 34% of the vote. After that, the “S & P500” index with 30% is in the second place.

The survey polled 345 investment fund executives around the world, and the total value of the capital under their management was more than $ 1 trillion.
